ANTIPHOSPHOLIPID-SYNDROM
Das Antiphospholipid-Syndrom ist eine durch zirkulierende Autoantikörper ausgelöste Neigung zur Blutgerinnung, die zu einer erhöhten Thrombophilie führt. Die auslösenden, sogenannten Antiphospholipid-Antikörper (APA) sind dabei gegen verschiedene Phospholipide (Cardiolipin, Prothrombin u.a.) und phospholipid-bindende Proteine wie beta-2-Glykoprotein I gerichtet.
Das Antiphospholipid-Syndrom tritt ohne Vorerkrankung in seiner primären Form auf oder - häufiger - als Folge einer meist autoimmunen Vorerkrankung wie SLE oder Rheumatoide Arthritis (sekundäre Form).
